Our unique process protects track, switch, and bridge sleepers from premature failure due to internal rot – both before installation and after installation. To do this, holes are drilled at specially specified locations and treated with InsideFume^® (based on the active ingredient Dazomet, which is approved throughout Europe). Moisture and heat cause the active ingredient to spread throughout the wood, where it unfolds its protective effect. InsideFume^® has been proven to be highly effective against fungal, bacteria, and insect infestation.

To date, over 20,000 track, switch, and bridge sleepers have been treated with InsideFume^®.
